Academic Excellence Event Speaker

One January 29, 2025, I had the incredible honor of being invited by the Dean and President of Delaware Technical Community College to deliver a speech about my journey to Delaware Tech, the challenges I’ve overcome, and my involvement both in and out of the classroom. The event took place in front of an audience of over 300 faculty members, students, and parents.

During my speech, I shared my personal experiences—what led me to Delaware Tech, the obstacles I faced along the way, and how I took advantage of opportunities to grow academically and professionally. I spoke about my leadership roles, my passion for finance, and the ways I’ve worked to create meaningful experiences for myself and others. More importantly, I wanted to inspire those in the audience who might be facing their own challenges, showing them that perseverance and initiative can lead to incredible opportunities.
